Child Welfare

The ATO-ICW program primary responsibility is to provide for the care of the Apache children in the custody of the Apache Tribe of OK and to ensure compliance with the Federal Indian Child Welfare Act regarding Apache Children that are at risk of being removed from the care of their parents/guardians or removed from the parents/guardians because of abuse and/or neglect.

The Apache Tribe of OK provides services to the Apache children and their families that have an open referral of case number with a state or federal agency regarding the children being abused and/or neglected, foster parents and potential foster parents.

The Apache Tribe is in need of foster parents and adoptive parents for tribal children. Please contact us if you are interested in making a difference in the life of an Apache child.
